Azita Vazhayil
Azita Vazhayil is a high school student passionate about human rights, with a particular interest in protecting freedom of expression and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to advocate for what they believe in. Through her work with NYRA, she hopes to help level the playing field and empower young people to express themselves in ways that may be considered unconventional.
Azita joined NYRA in July 2026 and currently works on the Communications team, research team and design team
