Jayla Davis
Jayla Davis is a junior at Head-Royce School in Oakland, California, and works with NYRA to help implement restorative justice practices throughout my community. She cares about addressing systemic issues that begin in youth and continue to impact their futures. With gun violence being one of the leading causes of death among young people, it is a major focus of her advocacy. Her goal is to raise awareness, encourage community connection, and work toward solving and preventing issues at their root.
Jayla joined NYRA in Feburary 2026 and currently works on the Communications Team and Action Team
