Alanah Eason

Alanah Eason is a 19-year-old senior attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, double majoring in criminal justice and political science. She plans to pursue a career in the legal field. Alanah has been interested in politics since the 2016 presidential election and is passionate about advocating for social justice and youth rights. Alanah’s interest in youth rights came about during the 2024 presidential election when she was 17 and was not able to vote. This led her to become an advocate for giving the youth a voice in terms of politics and voting. In her free time, she’s either reading or writing about her unpopular opinions regarding the law and society. During her time at NYRA, Alanah hopes to be a better advocate for the youth and develop her research and writing skills.

Alanah Joined NYRA in June 2026 and currently works on the Communications team, research team, and outreach team.
