Andrew Ferguson

Andrew Ferguson

Andrew Ferguson is a volunteer broadcaster and youth issues specialist. Andrew is pursuing a B.A. in Media Production from the University of Houston, holds an A.A.S. in Radio/TV Broadcasting, and has over four years of experience in community radio as the former co-host and assistant producer of Thinkwing Radio with Mike Honig on 90.1 FM KPFT Houston. Formerly a United States Youth Senator for Texas, Technology Director for USYG: Youth in Politics, and Member for Texas of the Continental Youth Assembly of the United States, Andrew’s journey with youth rights began after an ill-fated march on his high school administration to protest a cell phone ban. Now helping others organize with the Industrial Workers of the World labor union, he hopes to take the organizing skills he has learned into the youth rights space to aid the fight for a freer future.

Andrew joined NYRA in February 2026 and currently works on the Communications team, action team and outreach team.
