An application for the forming of a NYRA Southern Ottawa County chapter, or NYRA-SOC, was approved by the NYRA Board of Directors during a meeting Wednesday, June 21. Membership is open to any member in Ottawa County, and there is no cost to join. Current Ottawa County residents will automatically be joined.

NYRA has announced that American University appoved an application for a campus chapter of NYRA at the beginning of December.
