NYRA volunteer speaking to another young person about youth rights during a tabling event
Our volunteers help us to educate others about youth rights.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer! As a volunteer you will be making an important contribution to helping young people learn about and defend their rights. Our volunteers are able to use and develop their skills in a variety of areas including research, writing, promotion, and outreach. Volunteers work independently or as part of a team and have the opportunity to focus on issues that are important to them. All of our projects are completed online, so you can work from home and set your own hours and schedule.

If you would prefer to work on local issues in your own community, you may want to consider starting a chapter. We also offer an internship program for people who are able to contribute 15 hours a week or more.

If you would like to become a volunteer, please fill out the form below. You may also contact us with any questions you have.
