The 2008 NYRA Annual Meeting will be the biggest ever!! More
workshops!! More food!! More fun!! More exclamation marks!!
This year, not only do we have a packed schedule of great workshops,
trainings, and discussions, we have a party too! After a long day of
NYRA business on Saturday everyone is invited back to Alex's house for
a youth rights Barbeque! NYRA has been around for 10 years now, and
now we get to celebrate NYRA's first decade with a suitable shindig.

Industry and Get Paid For It! by the Community Alliance for the
Ethical Treatment of Youth (CAFETY)
2 - 3 - A training from Youth Venture on how NYRA chapters can apply
for up to $1,000 in funding.
3 - 6 - Annual report, strategic planning & Voting for the board election.
7 - Whenever - Grilling for Youth Rights. Party at Alex's house! Happy

10 - 11 - Chapter Building & Student Organizing Basics by Students for
a Democratic Society

1 - 2 - Youth Rights at Home: Non-Coercive Parenting by Chuck Thomas
2 - 3 - A workshop by the ACLU on student rights, curfews and other
related issues.
