Yeah, that would be the case. So that would mean that berkeley can block the forums manually…. this is good. Thanks Adam, I had overlooked that.

Sure. It bugs me how they block an important part of a site though.

Really, though, do you absolutely need the forums? No, they're just fun. It'd be nice if we had them, but let's concentrate on gettting shit done first. As in, lowering the voting age?

You know…what we stand for…..

Is there a reason we shouldn't simply move the forums to youthrights.com, install the community features for vbulletin, launch a robust campaign against internet censorship, and finally build a complete student rights section on the NYRA site?

Youthrights.com and Youthrights.org are two different url's. Forums would still be censored on youthrights.com, but the main site wouldn't be. Anyone who finds youthrights.org and clicks on the forums link and finds that censored would take extra interest in the links on the main page for our anti-censorship project. Which brings us back to the only real solution to our being censored: fighting it at the source.

Jason, that's a great idea! I agree with it, especially since one of my main causes is fighting internet censorship. I need to get on the ball and write my essay about it…

Is this something you could set up Jason? It looks like a good idea to me.

I have a feeling our server may be blocked somehow, not just the URLs. Is that possible?

Okay, I'm just still ranting about not being able to get on from work. Trouble is, I just can't figure out whether it is this server that won't connect to my work one, or my work one refusing to connect to this one. It's driving me fucking crazy.

Yeah. I use Firefox at work, but doesn't work on IE either. I could try Opera, if I'll even be able to load it.

Perfect. Move it to a different domain as a temporary fix and fight censorship, I like it.

Yes, I can do it. Need to not be sick, but as soon as that's the case we can get to work. The participation of those volunteering would be quite useful also.

I'll give you any help I can give. From a technical point of view though, I only consider myself proficient in CSS, HTML and Javascript. If it involves any of that, I'll do it. But…..that's it.
