Is it just me or does this all seem highly unorganised? I propose that we re work the project section into different subgroups with corisponding committees…such as projects revolving around the voting age…another for behavioral modification…a third for general ageism and public education…and so on. Their could be specific threads for suggestions, proposals and comments to the committee and they choose which proects of national or regional interst to focus on where as smalled ones will me carried out by local leaders under the advisement of the committee….these could have a further division on the boards, classified by region.

Oh, one more thing, of course the current message boards subgroups about those major issues would stay as is for general discussion…education…debate…etc

The forums have worked pretty well as is. We had a major reorganization about a year ago, and I think everyone is pretty happy with how they're set up.
The forums are just simply a place for discussion. Any true policy decision or project decisions are up to the individual chapters or the Board to discuss in official meetings. These are used for spreading of information, general bullshit, answering questions, the occasional organizational stuff, and getting to know each other so we can better work together.
Besides, most of us are rather chaotic, so chaotic forums work

I was merely suggesting a system that is as compatible with the internet (as it is our main means of year round communication) in both efficiency and convinience.

Actually, I'd say our main means of communication in regards to NYRA business remains IM and chat rooms.
