Well, I looked on the Obama website and seen something interesting, his campaign officially allows anyone over 16 to donate. I though this was pretty unique, so I decided to look at every other candidate from the primaries (Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, even Ron Paul) and guess what, they all require you to be over 18 to donate.
Â
I'm over 18 and wouldn't have voted for a Republican anyway, but I thought this was worth mentioning. Obama is the most youth-friendly candidate.

I am strongly against all forms of ageism, not just the drinking age. Unlike most people on Earth, I do not believe that at 12:00AM on your 18th birthday, you will automatically be able to handle something better than you would have at 11:59PM the day before. I do not believe in magical numbers. This is the next generation of discrimination and it must end.

Obama encouraged the states to raise their school dropout ages to 18. Yeah, so youth-friendly.
I'd hardly consider his willingness to take young people's money a reason to qualify him as the most "youth-friendly" candidate. Sure, he'll take young people's money, but he won't allow them their rights that they're entitled to.
The most youth-friendly candidate is Gary Johnson on the Libertarian ticket.

Obama's a lot more friendly than Mitt Romney, though admittedly, that's not saying much.

I don't really see how Gary Johnson is youth-friendly. To be honest, I haven't really kept up with him, but I know one of his biggest positions is legalizing marijuana. That's not necessarily being youth-friendly, cause we all damn know there's gonna be a magical number on that, probably 21. In fact, that's one of the big things with all candidates advocating for legalizing marijuana, "keep it out of kids hands". And he, like the Republicans, requires donors to be over 18. Just looked and confirmed. They all support something anti-youth. I think of Obama being the most pro-youth. Donating goes along with voting, and if he's advocating 16 yo donation age, maybe he can be talked into a 16 yo voting age as well.

If Obama supported lowering the voting age to 16, then he'd make an open stance reflecting that. The fact that he'll take 16 year olds' money to promote himself indicates nothing of the sort. Your argument that he's the most youth friendly candidate is based on an entirely theoretical argument that he might be able to be talked into supporting a lower voting age. But unless he actually supports it, then he cannot be considered youth friendly for your stated reason.
The only candidate with any position even remotely youth friendly is Gary Johnson, who is in favor of lowering the drinking age to 18. He's also quoted as saying that he's the guy to turn to for advocating lower age restrictions.

Obama is a proponent of a whole array of youth civic engagement initiatives. Â I've met the youth/young americans outreach folks in the office of public engagements. Â I think they understand there's little chance of passing youth voting at the federal level, so they're being really creative in coming up with other ways that they can make sure youth voices are heard in all parts of the federal government.
Â
Gary Johnson on the other hand would basically demolish the federal government. Â

Yeah, I think Jill Stein is the most youthrightsy candidate running for president at the moment… Though I haven't really seen Gary's Positions.

Well that's an extreme exaggeration. But he does want to chip away quite a bit at the fed, which is not necessarily a bad thing. He's in favor of limiting the power of the federal government to only what the Constitution specifically outlines as the federal government's duties, which is obeying the Constitution down to the letter.
Please don't let yourself get doped into thinking that Obama is pro-youth rights. This is the guy who encouraged the states to raise their school dropout ages to 18. He rewarded the anti-youth rights judge Sonia Sotomayor, who has consistently ruled against the free speech rights of students and the Constitution as well as defined one purpose of our public schools to be teaching students a "proper respect for authority," with his first pick for the Supreme Court. He supported overruling the FDA's suggestion that the minimum age of 17 for women to purchase over-the-counter emergency contraception be dropped. Obama has also persistently joked about going to extreme means to prevent his daughters from dating. Say what you will about the president, but pro-youth is not one of his positions.

Obama also supports drone attacks that bomb the shit out of 16 year old American citizens just because they are unlucky enough to be in Yemen. Fuck Obama, he is just happy to get his hands on their money. All these candidates do is say what they think enough people want to hear.
