While I was locked up at TICO when I was 15 years old I was beaten,tortured, and treated like crap. I feel it has damaged permanently. Who do I talk to about this?

If you don't mind me asking what exactly is TICO? I looked it up and all i found was that it is either an asylum or a mental hospital. Is are the two the same thing? and that it has a cemetery. pretty creepy.
after reading several theards on this forums i find them very scary, but i'm sure you'll find someone here who can help.

There are many pressures nowadays to fit in. Society thinks that we are too immature, rebellious, and irresponsible. People do not expect us to be meaningful or to care about things but that is a lie. We are capable and want to be challenged but at the same time to be our own age.

Find a good counselor that works with people, suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Or a least find a good book like, ( Coping with Trauma ) By Jon G. Allen. Where you can begin to understand, what is going on inside your head. Understand that you are not alone, and you did not deserve what happened to you! Try to keep the self medication minimal, that only hurts in the long run. Forgive the ones that hurt you, and forgive yourself if you were made to hurt others!

TICO is a youth prison, next door is the youth mental "hospital".
I was there when i was 15. Saw some crazy shit.

I spent two years at TICO, 84-86… The events there have scared me for life  I witnessed sexual relations between female staff and inmates IE Shirley Dupler and Rick Zeigler whom she helped escape,I witnessed beatings and was beaten myself with a flashlight by Earlander Motley,I took him to court and he was Fired but I still have the scars on my face.I knew three people who escaped..Bill Blevins Todd Marshall and Fred Puckett..the staff were corrupt Making money by bringing in drugs and cigs for us..I was held by my throat  by a staff member while an inmate punched me in the head… it was an awful place to be…I could tell you many stories..of course I went to  a real state prison after wards..it was NOTHING like Tico.. The Place was totally haunted,I would spit out the medications they  gave me after I had  a seizure and was laughed at because I complained.. I graduated C Arthur Wilson High School and took on Small engine repair and Auto Shop with MR Nixon… MR Groves  Pain in the ass….. Im ruined socially because of this place.I turst no ONe and become violent quickly when  I feel a verbal or physical attack..One GooD thing I did there..was I beat  the living crap out of Clifton Cousins ( Look him up Ohio Offender Search) he went on to become a Gangstas Dicsiple and murdered two people  as well as getting more time for threatening George W Bush…..I still have nightmares about those long HALLWAYS..and the staff shining lights on us at night  Ronnie Scwartz a female staff member would watch us shower and ask us to masterbate for her she was having a romance with Cecil Russell and Inmate who worked maintenance and had a free run of the Place… it was horrible and it made me HARD and Hateful…   Bryan StJohn [email protected] anyone…. mail me
