A blog called Tales from the black school where former boarding school residents tell their stories has focus week covering Diamond Ranch Academy which are housed at two campuses south and east of Hurricane in Utah.

Diamond Ranch Academy was founded in Idaho in 1999. They were raided by the authorities and moved to Utah where they could operate peacefully because the authorities don't care about youth facilities in this state.
