So har we have found 5 cases where teenagers have lost their lives while they were in so-called residential treatment or care.

1. Roger Eugene Benson – 15 years of age

2. Caitlin A. Lee – 15 years of age

3. Dyskeha Streeter – 16 years of age

4. Daniel Huerta – 17 year of age

5. Anthony Parker – 16 years of age

 

The causes of death were suicide, medical neglect, violence inside the program and traffic accident cause by an employee who should not have been allowed behind the wheels

I hope we are finished for the year 2011 and we are unable to locate additional deaths, but we have been wrong one time, so I will pray.

It is not every casulty we have been able to record. There are properly many more, who should be on Fornits Wiki but we need at least one newspaper article naming them or an obituary before we can add them.

 

We believe that the numbers in 1980's should be higher but Google stopped their work regarding newspaper scannings and without anything online we are sad to report that we cannot be more accurate.
